David was the Official Hat maker for the Roy Rogers Museum in California, when it was in existence. He still makes Hats for Dusty (Roy Rogers, Jr.), in Branson, MO. Dusty orders personal ones for his shows, and one "Good Guy" Award hat every year.

Every D Bar J hat is handcrafted using century old techniques and equipment that are extremely difficult to find in todays time. Always made with the quality to last for decades of daily use in the sun, rain, or snow! High quality, handmade hats for real working cowboys and people who consistently work outdoors in the sun. Keep yourself covered with a hat that will withstand the test of time!

Our hats are extremely sturdy and can take a real tough beating, so don't be afraid to get a little dirt on it. If you crush it, drive over it, or your horse steps on it, send it back to us and we'll fix it! We made it, we can fix it.

Handmade hats fit so well because we can shape them to your head shape. Let us know if you're a long oval or wide oval head shape in the notes to seller or you can email/call us to let us know. If you're a previous customer and we have your head shape on file, we can make any hat on our website fit your head shape! Contact us for more details.
